Mictrack MT710 Battery Life Real Test

Based on our evaluation, if the Mictrack MT710 runs in MODE 3 with a reporting interval of 24 hours, it can operate for 12 months. To verify this, we have taken one MT710 and placed it in our office for a long battery life test. We will continue to monitor the test results. Below are the test details:

halloonkel In our local test in MODE 1 with 60 seconds interval, the battery life up to 39 hours. Of course, in our test environment, both the GPS and network signals are good.

Also we used the low power analyzer and ran it for one hour to measure the average power consumption in MODE 1 with
60 seconds interval. In the real test, the network, GPS signal and temperature are dynamic and can slightly affect power consumption.

Is this the maximum?

halloonkel It started on 2024/8/1 8:41:40 and ended on 2024/8/2 18:23:23, totaling 33.74 hours. During the test, we found that sometimes the device failed to report to the server and needed to resend (we not found this issue on our local server), which slightly increased power consumption.
